PageFive facelift
Sometimes a small change is all it takes!
Even though I usually love creating completely new logos, I have learned over the years that radical change is not always the best idea. People build strong habits around brands and visuals, and sometimes it is smarter to respect what already works. That was exactly the case with the subtle update of the PageFive logo.
Instead of redesigning everything, I focused on small visual details. I removed the slight serifs, adjusted the position of the capital P and F so they sit more naturally with the rest of the letters, and refined the downward curve of the P and the second horizontal stroke of the F. Nothing dramatic, but just enough to make the logo feel calmer and better balanced.
The updated version has been in use ever since. Unfortunately, the old logo is still hiding in a few places for example website. So yes, a small visual time travel is still possible.
The original logo was created by František Kast, using the Left font (Heavyweight type foundry).
The refreshed version has been in use since 2023.
