Evidence that everything really does start with a sketch!

For a long time, I drew almost all my ideas on paper. Literally everything, from single letters to full book layouts, posters, flyers and entire publication spreads.

Today, I often replace paper with a tablet, which makes the process faster and a bit more comfortable. But honestly, a sheet of paper is usually much closer than a tablet and, unlike the tablet, it never runs out of battery at the worst possible moment. So I still never leave my pen behind. It is simply the most reliable tool I have.
