Marc typeface

A font for whole life.

I’ve always loved typography and drawing letters. But when I made the very first sketch of the Marc typeface more than four years ago, I honestly had no idea what kind of adventure I was starting. Now I’m at a point where I notice tiny little flaws in the letters-things I keep tweaking bit by bit. The typeface has kind of grown up with me; at the beginning it was pretty wild, and now it’s turned into a more classic grotesk with slightly wider shapes.

I used it for my two-year ago bachelor’s project from Japan, Planeta T., and all the text in the publication is set in this typeface.

I hopefully one day the typeface will finally be “finished”!
