Skartovačka

Budget above all else!

When I was asked to design the visuals for a multi-genre festival in Polička called Skartovačka, there was no time for long research or deep conceptual debates. The budget was very small, so I approached the project from the opposite direction and focused on what could realistically be done in two hours. No brilliant, overthought visual systems this time.

Since the festival is called Skartovačka (literally a shredder), the concept came naturally. I created digital fragments and scraps in space, inspired by paper cut straight out of a shredder.

In the end, the design took a little over two hours, but the goal was met and the visuals did exactly what they were supposed to do. Sometimes speed really is the concept.
